HELP REQUEST 3090ti, 64GB Ram, i9: Followed all the steps but have two major issues. #01: no more sound in game. Check windows settings and verified integrity of the files in steam as a back up and nothing. #02 I can’t access any aircraft they are all locked while bypassing steam like it isn’t seeing my purchased DLCs. Relogged into my il2 account via the game and same issue. Maybe I should take all my setting back to the way it was before?

When I use the OpenXR advanced overlay to check my performance it shows everything else, but doesn't show the CPU and GPU headroom percentage. It worked earlier and I don't know what happened, but I can't seem to get it to display the headroom % anymore. I've tried everything and searched online. Does anyone know how to enable it?

OpenXR toolkit doesnt even have IL2 as a listed game. I cant get it to come up in my openXR. I see all my other games, but not IL2. Then i go to openxr website, supported games, and IL2 isnt listed. What do you know that I dont?

P51H debuted 3 Feb, 1945 with top speed of 487mph. P51B/C 440mph & the D variant 437mph. It held it's own against the dumb dora & k4 they had a top speed increase over the P51 of only 10 - 15 mph. That's not really that much. Especially since we outnumbered them too. Not to mention rhat the P47M & N & F4U4's & 5's, F8F were at 460+ mph. Up to 487mph as I recall. Point being, they shouldn't have fucked with the U.S.A.

i think high price of dlc's is contributing to some extent. 80 bucks for 5 planes, 3 of which you will never use, and a new map is steep.

"everyone complaining about their aircraft" ??? The P40 could out rate a mustang at lower altitude. It's only flaw was high altitude performance. It was rugged and would bring it's pilots back despite considerable damage. Almost unbelievable damage. So wtf is this tremendous disrespect? I am from Buffalo NY the home of Curtiss & the P-40. It IS a GREAT plane. If so~&~so guy doesn't like it choose something else. Plain and simple. Go fly for das vaterland I'll be happy to contest you in flight.

26:20 The target FPS option is disabled for VR users because it will automatically set it to your HMDs refresh rate. I guess they did it so it's one less option to think about for those who don't know it and might set it up wrong. So the dynamic res option still works and is a good thing to enable imo for VR users because holding fps is more important than resolution in VR.

Love watching Il2. Brings back memories of all the time I spent on 1946. Always makes me want to reinstall. How easy it is to get setup for VR?

What servers do you recommend for pilots that know how to fly but arent so experienced with fighting? Ive played a lot of Task Force Dingo but im lookimg to branch out to a higher pop server.

And I'll wear glasses as well I still use the same headset as you I don't have the problems that you have but the sweating yes I do have that problem but it's just makes it more realistic I guess I can't stand the sweating like a lot of people say it's more realistic feeling but I don't like it I don't care to sweat while I'm trying to play a video game or a simulator

I didn't know people are still playing on IL2. I reinstalled it awhile ago and there was 1 person on thats it. Must be just private servers etc...

Why do you fly the Sabre at slow speeds?

Coincidentally I started playing the Sabre/Mig sim for once. Was pleasently surprised at how quickly I adapted to it vs prop games. Hope that IL2's Korea gets a good playerbase size to experience it like WT.
